Are you there…
Speak nicely to me….
Comfort me with your words of wisdom, do not pander me with slander, or tear me down with euphemisms, in the aftermath of silent cataclysms we tend to see life through opposite ends of a prism…. And with tears of pearls, I weep for the world, little boys and girls live to be placed on murals, products of recreational drugs and free love, now captive casualties of quarrel…..
There’s no singing carols on carousels in a world that’s feral with a lack of heroes, we take it all with a grain of salt that the drop of a tear holds, I weep for the parent with the self doubt looking in the mirror, whose life isn’t void of human error, child in an adjacent room having a nightmare but they’re alone in their room faced with their own night terrors, millennials grow up fast, unfamiliar with bare love, who’s taking care of the kid with the kid that’s being taken care of, children raising children, what will no experience reveal then, unreal gems, products of dysfunctional guidance, highly prone to violence, inside a riot, but presents with silence, but then the voices pry and provide an alliance, with a paradigm shift, oh the connivance, commanding that such acts be made with defiance, unholy concoction, is it religion or science, can you not hear what I’m hearing or see what I’m seeing……
The burden is giant, there’s no longer time for biding, their whole damn soul is crying but it can’t be heard over the sound of people sighing, emotional distractions and reactions, the normalization of people dying…… the gap between the rich and the poor widening, but surprisingly adjusting to the assimilational uprising,
triumphs of pariahs aren’t told in tales, the weight of the world, you hold it well…. Who do you turn to when your the one to turn to, retire or rebel, they’ll lie with their truths in an internalizing hell
